Specialist Tutoring

I provide predominantly English tutoring to primary aged children during both term time and school holidays. I also tutor primary age Maths.

Tutoring sessions can either take place during the school day at school (with school permission), or at home if your child is home educated. I also provide tutoring sessions after school hours and during holidays.

Typically lessons are either 45 minutes or 1 hour, and should take place at least once a week for maximum impact on learning.

The first one or two lessons are spent carrying out assessments in the areas of English for which you have concerns, in order to support the planning of lessons.

Fees

• 45 minute lesson: £43.20
• 1 hour lesson: £54.00

These fees include tutor time before the lesson to plan and prepare appropriate resources. Lessons are invoiced monthly in advance.

My credentials

I hold Associate Membership of the Dyslexia Association (AMBDA), a current Enhanced Disclosure and Barring (DBS) certificate, and both Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance.

All personal data is stored in accordance with GDPR. I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
